This Privacy Policy describes how Shark In Time (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Shark In Time mobile application (the “App” or “Service”), available on the App Store and Google Play.
Shark In Time is a playful punctuality coach that helps users prepare, leave, and arrive on time for meetings. The App is designed to work without user accounts, authentication, our own backend, or our own user database. Most app data is stored locally on your device.
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Application refers to the Shark In Time mobile app, operated by Univi Group sp. z o.o.
Device means any device that can access the Service, such as a smartphone or tablet.
Personal Data refers to any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.
Service refers to the Shark In Time mobile application.
You means the individual accessing or using the Service.
Shark In Time does not require you to create an account, log in, or provide your name or email address to use the App.
The App may process the following types of information:
Shark In Time may store app data directly on your device, including:
Meeting names, times, locations, preparation time, commute time, and selected transport mode
Your shark name, aquarium decorations, shells, pearls, streaks, and app progress
App settings, permissions, preferences, and notification settings
Locally created or imported meeting information
This data is used to provide the main functionality of the App, including planning when to prepare, when to leave, when to arrive, and how to reward you for being on time.
We do not store this data in our own backend database because Shark In Time does not use our own backend or user account system.
Please avoid entering sensitive personal information into meeting names, shark names, or other free-text fields.
If you give the App permission to access your calendar, Shark In Time may read calendar events from your device calendar to show your upcoming meetings and help you plan when to prepare or leave.
Calendar access is optional. If you do not grant calendar permission, you can still use the App by adding meetings manually.
We do not upload your calendar events to our own backend database.
If you give the App permission to access your location, Shark In Time may use your current location to:
Estimate commute time
Help calculate when you should leave
Detect when you leave your current location
Detect when you arrive near your meeting destination
Support GPS-based punctuality features
Location access is optional. If you do not grant location permission, you can still use the App by entering commute time manually.
When routing or commute estimates are needed, your current location, destination address, transport mode, and related route information may be sent to Google Maps services to calculate travel time or route information.
We do not store your GPS location history in our own backend database.
If you give the App permission to send notifications, Shark In Time may send reminders such as:
When to start preparing
When to leave
When a meeting is coming soon
Progress or punctuality-related reminders
Notifications are optional. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.
We use Google Analytics/Firebase analytics services to understand how users interact with the App and to improve the product.
This may include telemetry such as:
App opens and screen views
Feature usage
Onboarding and permission flow events
Subscription or purchase-related events
App version, device type, operating system, language, country/region, and similar technical information
Anonymous or pseudonymous app identifiers used by analytics services
We use this information to improve the App, understand which features are useful, fix product issues, and make Shark In Time more helpful.
We do not use analytics to create our own user profile database.
Shark In Time may offer subscriptions, premium features, or in-app purchases.
Payments are processed by Apple App Store, Google Play, and/or RevenueCat. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
RevenueCat may process purchase-related information such as receipts, subscription status, product identifiers, entitlement status, and app-specific user or device identifiers needed to manage purchases and restore purchases.
We use information processed through the App to:
Provide and maintain the App
Help you plan preparation and commute time
Show upcoming meetings and punctuality reminders
Calculate rewards, streaks, shells, pearls, and aquarium progress
Estimate routes and commute time using Google Maps services
Send local reminders and notifications

We do not sell your Personal Data.

To protect the rights, safety, or property of users, us, or others
In connection with a merger, acquisition, business transfer, or similar transaction
With your explicit consent
Data stored locally on your device remains on your device unless you delete it, reset the App, or uninstall the App. Some local data may also be included in your device backup depending on your operating system and backup settings.
Analytics, telemetry, purchase, and third-party service data may be retained by Google, RevenueCat, Apple, or Google Play according to their own retention policies and our configuration settings.
We retain information only for as long as necessary to provide the Service, improve the App, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Your information may be processed outside your country of residence, including in countries where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.

The App is not intended for users under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children under 13. If you believe that a child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
The App may use third-party services, including Google Analytics/Firebase, Google Maps Platform, RevenueCat, Apple App Store, and Google Play.
These services may collect and process information according to their own privacy policies. We recommend reviewing their privacy policies separately.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information processed through the App.
